Fibromyalgia FAQ's

What is Physiotherapy management of Fibromyalgia?

Physiotherapists help to develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and functional ability.

Our training and clinically experience both in the NHS & private sector has given us the skills to be able to successfully manage:

  • Pain
  • Sleep
  • Activity pacing
  • Work
  • Exercise
  • Goal setting
  • Setbacks

It is our promise to meet the individual needs of all of our patients alongside treating everyone with empathy and respect.

We acknowledge that individuals suffering from Fibromyalgia/ chronic pain may have felt ‘ignored’ at some point in their journey. Here at FibroFirst Physiotherapy we provide a safe space and a listening ear to help get you on the right track to achieving your goals.

What problems can you help me with?

Here at FibroFirst Physiotherapy we can help YOU to get back in control of your life rather than your symptoms dicating how you should live.

We discuss strategies for:

  • Pain management
  • Pacing
  • Sleep
  • Activty & Exercise
  • Work
